“I have discovered photography. Now I can kill myself. I have nothing else to learn.”

Pablo Picasso is generally credited for the above quote.  But he didn’t kill himself.  Perhaps he too found out that discovering photography is just the beginning of an unending joyous relationship in which the learning never ends.  Or, more likely, he was just being hyperbolic.

I am based in Gurugram, (formerly Gurgaon) near Delhi (India) and have been photographing since the early 90s. But I’ve not always been a photographer. After a few years in corporate India in the 80s, I held a tenured university professorship that I resigned after nearly two and half decades in academia.  Since then, I’ve been pursuing my passion for photography professionally and am sharing some of the results here.  While nearly all the images in the Interior galleries were shot on assignment, several of the other images too have been put to commercial use by a growing list of clients.

Do feel free to connect with me directly or using the contact page for assignments or use of images, and even as a fellow shutterbug to exchange notes; it’s always a pleasure to connect with like-minded folks! Thanks for visiting.
